How to get a handicap

It’s really simple, just sign up through a Member Club

Every CSGA Member Club is licensed to issue handicap indexes and many public courses offer a "handicap only" service.  USGA Handicap Indexes are issued to individuals only through recognized golf clubs. The USGA Handicap System requires that a golfer be part of a club so that “peer review” is part of the handicap process.

The CSGA Players Club began in 2007 and has evolved into a program designed to connect CSGA Member Clubs with golfers throughout the state.  Participating Member Clubs (both private and public) design individualized programs that make the golf course available to Players Club members.
