How to get a handicap

It’s really simple, just sign up through a Member Club

Every CSGA Member Club is licensed to issue handicap indexes and many public courses offer a "handicap only" service.  USGA Handicap Indexes are issued to individuals only through recognized golf clubs. The USGA Handicap System requires that a golfer be part of a club so that “peer review” is part of the handicap process.

CSGA Rules Seminar

February 25 & 26, 2012

The CSGA is pleased to anounce its 2012 rules seminar. The seminar includes two days of classroom instruction and interactive discussions led by USGA Curriculum Certified Instructors – Malcolm McLachlan and Jeff Witherwax.  The curriculum covers the 34 Rules of Golf, definitions and many decisions on the Rules of Golf.  Presentations utilize photographs, illustrations, animations and video in PowerPoint along with the unabridged text of every Rule.  An optional test will be offered to those interested in CSGA certification. Continental Breakfast, Deli Lunch and Sunday Reception are included in the $125 registration fee.
