9th Women’s Open Championship 

Shuttle Meadow Country Club    May 29 - 30, 2007 

ELIGIBILITY:

  • The field will be open to golfers who are female at birth,  professional and amateur.
  • Amateurs must have a USGA Handicap Index of 12 or less. 
  • Entrants must be in agreement with General Tournament Policies listed below.   

Entry fee ($200 for professionals / $100 for amateurs).  

COMPLETELY EXECUTED ENTRY MUST ARRIVE on May 8 BY 3:00PM 

LOCATION:

Shuttle Meadow Country Club 

FORMAT:

36-holes at Stroke Play.  All contestants will play 18 holes on May 29.  Low 80% of the field and ties will advance to play 18 holes on May 30.  Lowest score for 36 holes will be the Champion. In the event of a tie, the Champion will be determined by a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following the last stipulated round.  

CADDIES AND AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION: 

A player may carry her own bag, use a host club caddie, or bring her own caddie. 

PRIZES:

1st Professional Purse - $5,000.  Size and composition of field will determine total purse awarded. Amateurs will receive merchandise credit from Shuttle Meadow CC.  The Champion’s name will be engraved on the Valerie Bulkeley Trophy.
