62nd Senior Amateur Championship 

Wethersfield Country Club    October 1 - 2, 2007 

ELIGIBILITY:

Amateur golfers:

  • Age 55 or older as of October 1, 2007.

  • Holding an active USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 12.0 (ages 55 – 64), 15.0 (age 65 and up) under the men’s USGA Handicap System from a CSGA member club.

  •  In agreement with General Tournament Policies listed below.  

Entry fee ($125).

COMPLETELY EXECUTED ENTRY MUST ARRIVE BY 3:00PM, September 3 

Sectional Qualifying:  

For all except exempt entrants.     62nd Senior Amateur Exemptions         Complete Championship Exemptions

September 20 -  Westport Longshore Golf Club

There will be a separate qualifier division for Super Senior Qualifiers (age 65 and up) if the number of Super Seniors that apply warrants such a division. 

FORMAT:  

36 Holes at stroke play. 18 Holes on October 1st, with low 40 plus ties playing 18 holes on October 2nd.  In the event of a tie, the Champion will be determined by a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play.

AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION:  Automotive carts are included in fee.   

PRIZES:  Champion through 5th place and Low Gross and Low Net in the Super Senior division will receive merchandise credit from Wethersfield Country Club
