23^rd Connecticut Public Links Championship

Alling Memorial Golf Course October 6 - 7, 2008

ELIGIBILITY:

Amateur golfers:

· Holding an active USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 6.4 under the men’s USGA Handicap System from a public CSGA member club.

· Have not held a membership at any private golf club since January 1, 2008

· In agreement with General Tournament Policies listed below.

Entry fee ($85). Note: If this is your first application of the season, please include $10 Championship Player’s Fee (Total $95)

If the event is oversubscribed – final field selection will be based on selection criteria at CSGA Tournament Selection Policy

Completely executed entry must arrive by 3:00PM, September 15

FORMAT: October 6 – First Round: 18 holes – 30 Low Scores plus ties on will advance to play 18 holes on October 7.

Lowest score for 36 holes will be champion. In the event of a tie, the Public Links Champion will be determined by a hole-by-hole play-off immediately following the last stipulated round.

NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL: On Monday every qualifier shall notify the official in charge whether he will play in the final round on Tuesday.

CADDIES & TRANSPORTATION : Players shall not use automotive transportation during Championship proper. Player may carry his own bag, or have a caddie.

PRIZES: Champion receives the William Tomasso Trophy. Champion through 5^th place finisher will receive merchandise credit from Alling Memorial Golf Course.
