63^rd Senior Amateur Championship

Manchester Country Club    September 29 - 30, 2008

ELIGIBILITY:

Amateur golfers:

·         Age 55 or older as of September 29, 2008.

·         Holding an active USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 12.0 (ages 55 – 64), 15.0 (age 65 and up) under the men’s USGA Handicap System from a CSGA member club.

·         In agreement with General Tournament Policies listed below. 

Entry fee ($125).  Note: If this is your first application of the season, please include $10 Championship Player’s Fee (Total $135).

COMPLETELY EXECUTED ENTRY MUST ARRIVE BY 3:00PM, August 12  

Sectional Qualifying: 18 holes.  For all except exempt entrants.  63rd Senior Amateur Exemptions

August 26 -  Indian Hill Country Club

There will be a separate qualifier division for Super Senior Qualifiers (age 65 and up) if the number of Super Seniors that apply warrants such a division.  

FORMAT:  36 Holes at stroke play. 18 Holes on September 29^th, with low 40 plus ties playing 18 holes on September 30^th.  In the event of a tie, the Champion will be determined by a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play.  

AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION:  Automotive carts are included in fee.  

PRIZES:  Champion through 5^th place and Low Gross and Low Net in the Super Senior division will receive merchandise credit from Manchester Country Club
