2^nd Senior Match Play Championship  

Connecticut Golf Club                  June 5, 11 - 12, 2008                                       

ELIGIBILITY:

Amateur golfers:

·         Age 55 or older as of June 5, 2008.

·         Holding an active USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 12.0 under the men’s USGA Handicap System from a CSGA member club.

·         In agreement with General Tournament Policies listed below.  

Entry fee ($125).   Note: If this is your first application of the season, please include $10 Championship Players Fee (Total $135).

COMPLETELY EXECUTED ENTRY MUST ARRIVE BY 3:00PM, MAY 22, 2008.

  Championship:  Connecticut Golf Club 

Qualifying - 18 holes at stroke play to determine 16 qualifiers on Thursday, June 5 for all players.  A tie for last spot shall be decided immediately following play by a hole-by-hole playoff.

Match Play - General numerical draw will be used.

Wednesday, June 11 - AM Round of 16 – PM Quarter-final round                                      

Thursday, June 12 -  AM Semi-final round - PM  Final round

In the event of a tied match, winner shall be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff.

  AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION:  Automotive carts are included in fee.

  PRIZES:   An awards presentation will be held immediately following the Championship. Champion through Semi-finalists will receive merchandise credit from Connecticut Golf Club.
