CSGA, Chris Cote's Golf Shop Renew Partnership

(January 9, 2022) - The CSGA is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with Chris Cote’s Golf Shop. In 2022 Chris Cote’s Golf Shop will once again be the presenting sponsor of the popular One Day Tournament Series. Last year the rosters showed 1,800 players competed in 14 events all around the state, culminating in the Al Acker One Day Championship in October 2021.

“The CSGA is incredibly proud to be affiliated with a phenomenal sponsor like Chris Cote Golf Shops whose dedication to amateur golf and growing the game through our partnership and community engagement is unparalleled” said Director, Tournament Operations & Women's Golf, Marsha Rupp.

Chris Cote’s Golf Shop will also return as the presenting sponsor of the 19th Russell C. Palmer Cup set to be played at Wampanoag Country Club in mid-May. The Palmer Cup is the CSGA’s premier stroke play championship and it is fitting to have Chris Cote’s Golf Shop lend its support elevating the Championship to new heights.  In addition, look for the CSGA and Chris Cote’s Golf Shop to partner on an event this summer at the Southington Golf Shop and Toptracer Range, following the success of the inaugural CSGA Women’s Open House in early 2020.

"The decision to continue our partnership with the CSGA was an easy one,” said Chris Cote. “We are constantly amazed by the level of golf played at the One Day events and stunned by the demand for these events. We're looking forward to another excellent season of exceptional amateur golf."
