2018 CSGA Widdy Neale Scholarship Golf Classic

Join fellow CSGA golfers for a round at one of Connecticut's best golf courses! 
On Monday, September 24th, Ridgewood Country Club hosts the 7th Annual CSGA Scholarship Fund Golf Classic.
 The CSGA Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization and $100 of the $250 entry fee is tax deductible.  
Your entry fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, range balls, lunch, buffet dinner, contests and prizes.
Ridgewood Country Club, originally a Deveraux Emmet design, was the site of the Connecticut State Championship in 1995 and host to the first LPGA event in Connecticut history in 1968. 
  • Come play a great golf course and support a very worthwhile cause, the CSGA Widdy Neale Scholarship Fund.
  • You can put together your own foursome or sign up as an individual.
  • The format is Best Ball of Each Foursome (Gross and Net).  As this is not a scramble or shamble format, you will play your own ball on every hole.
Entry Fee: $250 - will include 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, buffet dinner and prizes
Format: Best ball of the foursome, gross and net prizes
Tentative Schedule: Registration and Lunch at approximately 11:00 a.m, Shotgun Start at 12:00 p.m, Reception, Buffet Dinner and Awards at approximately 4:30 p.m.

About the CSGA

The CSGA functions as an extension of the USGA and provides stewardship for amateur golf in Connecticut. Founded in 1899, it is the country’s oldest state golf association and conducts over 50 Championships, Qualifiers and One-Day Tournaments throughout the year, in addition to administering handicaps for over 40,000 members and 181 member clubs. As a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization, the CSGA supports a variety of golf organizations within Connecticut, including the Connecticut Women’s Golf Association, Southern New England Women’s Golf Association, The First Tee, the Connecticut PGA, and the CSGA Scholarship Fund in honor of Widdy Neale.
