Registration for 2013 CSGA Championships Now Open

Rocky Hill, Conn. (February 15th, 2013) 
- While the piles of snow and frigid temperatures indicate it's still winter, there is one sign that spring is around the corner: Registration for 2013 CSGA Championships is now open. The lineup of host venues for our 2013 championships features some of Connecticut's most prominent and historic clubs. Some highlights of the 2013 calendar include:

New for 2013 is the creation of dedicated websites for several of the CSGA Major Championships. These individual sites will provide a unique and more comprehensive online experience for players, volunteers and the general public. Click on the links above to view these sites.

The Connecticut State Golf Association conducts over 50 Championships, Qualifiers and One-Day Tournaments throughout the year. The events are conducted on some of the best courses in the state and the experience of playing in a CSGA event is second to none. If you've entered a CSGA championship in the past, we look forward to seeing you again this year. About the CSGA

Founded in 1899, the CSGA is the country's oldest state golf association and, as an Allied Golf Association of the USGA, provides stewardship for amateur golf in Connecticut. In addition to administering handicaps for over 40,000 members at 181 member clubs, the CSGA conducts more than 85 days of competition throughout the year for golfers of all ages, genders, and skill levels. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the CSGA supports a variety of golf organizations within Connecticut, including the Connecticut Association of Golf Course Superintendents, Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, Connecticut Section PGA, Connecticut Women’s Golf Association, CSGA Scholarship Fund in honor of Widdy Neale, LPGA-Amateur Golf Association, Southern New England Women’s Golf Association, and The First Tee of Connecticut.
