Entries Close: Wednesday, July 11 at 5:00 p.m.

Handicap Limit: Male partner's handicap cannot exceed 20.0 and female partner's handicap cannot exceed 30.0

Age Limit: None

Field Size Limit: Limited to the first 80 teams

Format: Schedule of Events Registration: Beginning at 8:00 a.m. Shotgun Start: 9:00 a.m. Luncheon & Awards: Following golf about 1:30 p.m. Format: This Championship will be contested over 18-holes in a Chapman format. In the Chapman format, both players on a team tee off, they then play each other's tee shot for the second shot, select one of the second shots and from that point that ball is played alternately until holed. Exception: On all par three holes the players must select the ball to be played following their first shots and play into the hole from there.

The CSGA functions as an extension of the USGA and provides stewardship for amateur golf in Connecticut. Founded in 1899, it is the country’s oldest state golf association and conducts over 50 Championships, Qualifiers and One-Day Tournaments throughout the year, in addition to administering handicaps for over 40,000 members and 181 member clubs. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the CSGA supports a variety of golf organizations within Connecticut, including the Connecticut Women’s Golf Association, Southern New England Women’s Golf Association, The First Tee, the Connecticut PGA, the Connecticut Association of Golf Course Superintendents and the CSGA Scholarship Fund in honor of Widdy Neale.
